About Me
- Rob G. I drink water
- Thanks for logging on. My name is Rob Landes, and my mother is Mary Landes. Together we are shaping a dream to support Multiple Sclerosis. Through the Tyler Hamilton Foundation, I have an opportunity to share my dream, and to support research for MS. For my 15th birthday, I got a 10-speed Schwinn. On that bike, I rode four miles to town, enjoying the attention when people asked “Did you really ride ALL THE WAY to town?” Four-mile rides eventually turned into longer rides, which have become my passion. Now my passion can support valuable dollars for MS research. How? I will ride across the ENTIRE US of A. On April 22, 2007, I dip a wheel of my bike in the Pacific Ocean and embark on a 32-day adventure that will end in the Atlantic Ocean. “Fast America” will cover over 3400 miles through 13 states.

Hey...according to Dave's blog it was a rough day! You know where your strength comes from when "fantasy turns to reality" as Dave puts it. Cheering you on...the Reis'
Rob, we were just looking over the schedule of the ride. I believe Jess and family is going to come and visit you at some point in Illinois so we don't want to intrude, but Mike will be driving right through Springfield, IL on the afternoon of May 12. He will be up in Peoria helping my Mom host Frank Zane at a bodybuilding show and will be driving home that afternoon/evening. If you want him to stop and say hi, let us know. If not, we understand if you are going to be with your family...we weren't sure when that was going to take place. We can also try to call Jess. Keep the faith going and enjoy it all!
